Hi all, I see there has been a lot going on, the “Big
meeting” for one, and as I am told one of the directors lost his decorum. I
wonder how much it would cost to get his inborn temperament sorted, or send them
all on an Anger Management course as it seems that even the chair is a bit
short on decorum. Money well spent I think.
From the minutes I see that we can be trusted to have a view
on a project that will cost almost £29,000, yet when one that costs £72,000 and
at the moment does not confirm to the articles of the Company we don’t get to? You have to ask why? What are they hiding?
The Directors
agreed that Members should be asked for their views before proceeding, as the
project will cost almost £29,000,
The constitution
for the Friends of Lochluichart Church has been received. The Solicitor will be asked to examine the
constitution and, with OSCR, look at the eligibility of the project for funding
in the light of the questions raised at the recent Members meeting (21 May
2015). Is this not desperate or what?
Definition of
desperate: Someone who wants something so bad they will go to extreme lengths
to get it.
Due to the
questions around the interpretation of the legal constraints on the LCT, it was
agreed that the Solicitor should attend future meetings – this will be reviewed
as over time.
So we have to now pay for a Solicitor to hold their hands at
what cost? I hope that we get a proper
itemised account for all the costs that have been incurred by the Company and
Directors. Let’s hope it’s better than the minutes that we get to see.

I think that the director that launched the personal attack on one of our members should be made to publicly apologise, and then step down. He was an absolute joke!
ReplyDeleteIf you have so many problems with the way LCT is run then I suggest YOU join the committee and put some effort in to help them. They are desperate for people to join and help but no one wants to make the effort. It seems you prefer to just sit back and snipe from the side lines.
ReplyDeleteI for am impressed that these people are prepared to give up their time to help you and your community. I suggest you show the same dedication and join and put in some of your own effort. Don't you think that makes more sense than this load of bile?

ReplyDeleteThank you for your message, but does it not make you wonder why no one wants to help. Is it because, if your views are not in keeping with the select one or two then you are out in the cold? Or is it the personal attacks on the locals that are keen to voice the concerns? Or is it the view of the board? Well if you think you can do better do it. For me my work commitment at this time does not give me the chance to be on the board. But as for the ones that are on it, it was there choice was it not? Maybe if the ones that are on the board are not happy they should go and set up a new committee that is willing to work for all the community, and not just for a few.
As for your comment on this bile: You and the rest of the readers must think it’s worth your time to read it so far page views are at 1,650. As for the snipe from the side lines, let me thank all the readers and members that send me updates, and all the kind messages of support. So yes, until the L C T is run for the people and not just for the few this blog will continue.

ReplyDeleteIn other news, I hear the AGM went ahead, about 35 members turned up, all resolutions passed by the members and new Directors in place. Members had very few questions.
Yes it was a good meeting was it not. It just a pity that the hand of friendship was only extended to one of the new directors ? Or did one not see the rest been welcomed in the same way. It was a poor turnout from the village was it not Darryn ? And the one director that wanted the chair appointed before the new ones could vote! Just as well there was a solicitor on hand.
