Hi all, I see there has been a lot going on, the “Big
meeting” for one, and as I am told one of the directors lost his decorum. I
wonder how much it would cost to get his inborn temperament sorted, or send them
all on an Anger Management course as it seems that even the chair is a bit
short on decorum. Money well spent I think.
From the minutes I see that we can be trusted to have a view
on a project that will cost almost £29,000, yet when one that costs £72,000 and
at the moment does not confirm to the articles of the Company we don’t get to? You have to ask why? What are they hiding?
The Directors
agreed that Members should be asked for their views before proceeding, as the
project will cost almost £29,000,
The constitution
for the Friends of Lochluichart Church has been received. The Solicitor will be asked to examine the
constitution and, with OSCR, look at the eligibility of the project for funding
in the light of the questions raised at the recent Members meeting (21 May
2015). Is this not desperate or what?
Definition of
desperate: Someone who wants something so bad they will go to extreme lengths
to get it.
Due to the
questions around the interpretation of the legal constraints on the LCT, it was
agreed that the Solicitor should attend future meetings – this will be reviewed
as over time.
So we have to now pay for a Solicitor to hold their hands at
what cost? I hope that we get a proper
itemised account for all the costs that have been incurred by the Company and
Directors. Let’s hope it’s better than the minutes that we get to see.
Question For you all; what has an irreligionist and an
opulent person has in common? The Answer, add in comment box as I know how shy
you all are.
Until the next time, keep the faith.

Friends of Spa Pavilion
Friends

This is half the total amount needed to repair art display boards. It was agreed to decline the application ? far more locals use it than play golf ?
Garve & Lochluichart SWRI
Garve

promote the group, hiring buses, paying for guest speakers and Hall hire. As both Jennifer Haslam and Jean Bailey are
members of the Garve & Lochluichart SWRI,
Received £ 990 one of payment

Change to Article 41
Director elections – 2 Directors are due to stand down at the AGM in July. As noted at the last Directors meeting, the election process is not clear in the articles. It was suggested that additional Directors (perhaps a further 3 elected Directors) are needed to help with the workload and for input, especially in determining the funding applications. However, this would mean a change to Article 41. It was suggested an informal meeting be held with members to ask for their thoughts on this matter. It would also give members an opportunity to raise suggestions they may have about the LCT. Once a date is set, members would be informed by email/post.
So they want to change to Article 41 by the back door don't lent them. Call for formal meeting not a informal meeting

Well this one looks value for money ? NOT
The Fund is there to help Garve and District
Not all that go to Strathpeffer and district
How will it benefit Garve ?
A New car park ?
Picnic benches.?
We have all that, and a that brings in
Drugs
Litter
Youth in fast cars
Drink problems
Noise
And this all happens at the spots with car parking and picnic benches.
I see from the Facebook page a lot of support is from outside the community but little from inside ?
- Conon Bridge
- Muir of Ord
- Contin..
- Strathpeffer.
So from the point of benefit i cant see much with this one
Why does Contin not build it?, they are getting money from our wind farm and its more central to all that are behind it, go on let them throw away their share ?
For me its a 2/10 what about you
On the benefit side maybe a local contractor will get the job of doing the ground works ?
As we have more than one in the Strathpeffer,Contin,Garve,Muir of Ord area

But i will give it 7/10 as it is local and i am sure it will be open to all.

Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club Project 2015 £8000
Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club Project 2015 £8000 received £8000 of your money why ? it has spent it on (Gordon MacKenzie outlined the progress at Strathpeffer Golf Club following the award of LCT funding – existing carpets have been cleaned, new carpets ordered, plumbing, electrics and decorating improved, glass-washer and refrigerator acquired and website re-vamped).Now according to there press release the money was to be spent on (“Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club Project 2015″ was awarded £8,000 to improve its clubhouse catering facilities.) i don't see much catering improvements on the statement by Mr Mackenzie to the board on the 24th February 2015

Type Annual Fee
Full £ 365
Senior £ 285
Junior Category 1 £ 160
Junior Category 2 £ 50

Sorry this is just wrong do we get reduced fees for our £8000 ? what help and benefit is it to our area?
Now only three Directors could vote on this, as one is from Strathpeffer originally and the other two declared a interest as they were members of the club?
