Well this one looks value for money ? NOT
The Fund is there to help Garve and District
Not all that go to Strathpeffer  and district
How will it benefit Garve ?
A New car park ?
Picnic benches.?

We have all that, and a that brings in
Drugs
Litter
Youth in fast cars
Drink problems
Noise
And this all happens at the spots with car parking and picnic benches.

I see from the Facebook page a lot of support is from outside the community but little from inside ?
  • Conon Bridge
  • Muir of Ord
  • Contin..
  • Strathpeffer.
So from the point of benefit i cant see much with this one
Why does Contin not build it?, they are getting money from our wind farm and its more central to all that are behind it, go on let them throw away their share ?

For me its a 2/10 what about you

On the benefit side maybe a local contractor will get the job of doing the ground works ?
As we have more than one in the Strathpeffer,Contin,Garve,Muir of Ord area

  4. I don't think the people who enjoy this walk on a daily basis would want it turned into a play park for visitors, what a silly idea,
Great blog by the way very informative, thank you

  5. From LCT minute 7 May - "It was agreed that the funding application be withdrawn, a new playpark constituted group be formed and legal advice sought, with reference to the arrangements between the new group and Forestry Commission Scotland. A new application could then be presented for funding before 30 September 2015. The Directors asked it to be noted that they admired the work and commitment Sharon had shown."

In other words no money is certain, might still be refused in September, no money agreed before meeting and it might never happen anyway - get your facts straight FR
