Director elections – 2 Directors are due to stand down at the AGM in July. As noted at the last Directors meeting, the election process is not clear in the articles. It was suggested that additional Directors (perhaps a further 3 elected Directors) are needed to help with the workload and for input, especially in determining the funding applications. However, this would mean a change to Article 41. It was suggested an informal meeting be held with members to ask for their thoughts on this matter. It would also give members an opportunity to raise suggestions they may have about the LCT. Once a date is set, members would be informed by email/post.
So they want to change to Article 41 by the back door don't lent them. Call for formal meeting not a informal meeting
Do please get in touch, I think we are of the same mind.
ReplyDeleteMaybe meet up for coffee at the burger van
ReplyDeleteI was recently at one of there meetings, and the behaviour of one of the directors was one of the most unprofessional things I have ever witnessed!
ReplyDeleteWe have sent forms in to be allowed in the meetings. Not something I think we should have to do. I think any public member of garve and district should be welcome to all meetings!
ReplyDeleteYou have to fill in a form to be a member of a company limited by shares - that's the law. Still waiting to have that coffee with you Mr Ross ....
DeleteI think Lousie is saying that anyone living in Garve and district area should be able to attend the meeting regardless of them being a member of the trust.
DeleteALL members of the Garve&District area should be able to attend all the meetings if they wish to do so!!
